👻 The Witch’s Pot
👻 The Witch’s Pot
There was a small village near an old forest. A story had spread among the villagers:
"In the heart of the forest lies an old clay pot, once belonging to a witch. Whoever touches it… never returns."
Most people thought it was just folklore. But one night, a young boy named Rameez decided to prove it wrong.
His mother cried and begged:
"Son, don’t go there… I can’t lose you."
But Rameez’s friends had challenged him, and pride made him ignore his mother’s tears.
🌲 The Forest Journey
It was late at night. The wind howled through the trees, and the silence of the forest felt unnatural. Holding a torch, Rameez walked deeper until he finally saw it—
a black clay pot, half-buried in the soil.
The ground around it was damp… as if soaked in blood.
He reached out to touch it, but suddenly his torch flickered and went out. In the darkness, a whisper slithered into his ears:
"Open the pot… I’m trapped inside…"
Rameez’s heart raced. He thought, Maybe it’s a woman… maybe someone’s in danger. His human compassion overpowered his fear.
🕯️ The Truth Revealed
He lifted the pot and pulled off the lid. A rush of cold air burst out, carrying a stench of decay.
Out of the pot came a skeletal hand, wrapping tightly around his throat.
Rameez screamed and struggled, but the grip was inhumanly strong. Inside the pot, two glowing red eyes glared at him—
the starving eyes of the witch.
She hissed:
"You freed me… and now you’ll never be free."
😢 Emotional End
By morning, villagers found Rameez’s torn bag and broken torch near the forest edge. But Rameez himself was never seen again.
His mother wept every night, staring into the dark forest, whispering:
"My son was only human… he gave his life because of his humanity."
The villagers now say—
another clay pot appeared in the forest that night. And inside it… Rameez’s soul is trapped forever.
